Not all mooncake delivery services for Vietnam work the same way, and the differences matter once an order is placed from abroad. Vietgifts has operated as a Vietnam-based delivery service for overseas customers since 2001, and a few factors are worth comparing before choosing where to order.
Key Takeaways
- Direct bakery sourcing affects freshness more than any other factor
- Same-day delivery availability varies significantly between services
- A money-back guarantee is not standard across every delivery service
Quick answer: compare whether a service sources directly from named bakeries, offers same-day delivery, and backs orders with a money-back guarantee before choosing one.

Where the Mooncakes Actually Come From
Some services resell from unnamed suppliers, while others, like Vietgifts, source directly from named bakeries such as Nhu Lan and Kinh Do - direct sourcing generally means fresher product and clearer accountability.

Same-Day Delivery Isn't Universal
Not every service can deliver the same day in Vietnam - Vietgifts covers Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang with a 6:00 PM local cutoff, which is worth confirming with any service before ordering.
Check for a Money-Back Guarantee
A guarantee that covers unsatisfactory deliveries isn't offered by every service - Vietgifts backs every order with a 100% money-back guarantee, which is worth asking about elsewhere too.
