Have four things ready before you start a same-day mooncake order: the recipient's full name and Vietnamese phone number, their address with ward and district, your preferred listing already selected, and a payment method on hand - gathering these first is faster than filling in checkout fields as you go, especially against the 6:00 PM Vietnam-time cutoff. Vietgifts is trusted since 2001, and same-day delivery is coordinated across Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang.
Key Takeaways
- Recipient's Vietnamese phone number is required, not optional
- Ward and district details prevent address confusion
- Picking a listing before checkout saves time against the cutoff
The single most common delay is an incomplete address - missing ward or district information. Have it written out fully before you start checkout. All prices are in USD, with payments processed securely through a US bank.

MOONCAKES VIETNAM
The Recipient's Phone Number Isn't Optional
Couriers in Vietnam typically call ahead before arriving, so a working Vietnamese phone number for the recipient - not your own overseas number - is required for same-day delivery to go smoothly.
Full Address Including Ward and District
An address missing ward or district information is the most common reason a same-day order gets delayed while Vietgifts confirms details - write out the full address, including any building or apartment number, before starting checkout.

Pick Your Listing First, Not During Checkout
With same-day orders racing a 6:00 PM Vietnam-time cutoff, deciding between listings during checkout wastes time you might not have. Browse and shortlist a brand and box beforehand - Kinh Do's numbered combos or Breadtalk's flavor-matched $74.90 tier are both quick to compare in advance.
Have a Payment Method Ready
Payments are processed securely through a US bank in USD - have your card or payment details ready rather than searching for them mid-checkout, since payment delays can push you past the cutoff.

A Quick Pre-Checkout Checklist
Recipient's full name, Vietnamese phone number, full address with ward and district, chosen listing, and payment method ready - with all five in hand, same-day checkout typically takes only a few minutes.
FAQ
What's the most common reason a same-day order gets delayed?
An incomplete address, usually missing ward or district information.
Do I need the recipient's phone number?
Yes - couriers typically call ahead before delivery, so a working Vietnamese phone number is required.
Can I use my own overseas phone number instead?
No - the recipient's local Vietnamese number is needed since the courier will be calling them, not you.
What time do I need everything ready by?
Before 6:00 PM Vietnam time for same-day delivery in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang, or 4:00 PM in other provinces.
Is it safe to enter payment details from outside Vietnam?
